Artisanal pasta sauce with hand-picked “Aglione della Valdichiana” and chilli pepper, which allows you to savor the typical flavors of Tuscany wherever you are.
Its name can be misleading. It looks like just a bigger garlic, but it isn't. It is an extraordinary product typical of the Valdichiana in southern Tuscany. Much more delicate than its cousin Aglio, however, has a characteristic that makes it special: it does not contain Allina. This allows it to be totally digestible and not to leave that sometimes unpleasant smell. In short, a kiss-proof garlic.
To make this sauce, we used the whole garlic plant from flower to bulb. The result was a fresh, sweet and delicate taste. For this reason we advise you to heat it a few minutes and drain it over the pasta.
Perfect for seasoning any type of pasta, in particular the traditional “Pici”, with the addition of mushrooms and sausage or capers and anchovies or Tuscan Pork Jowl (Guanciale).
