Semi-Aged Tuscan Goat Cheese is one of the most characteristic and ancient cheeses of the Tuscan tradition. Made up of 100% Italian products of the highest quality, it has always stood out for its totally artisanal processing that takes place by the expert hand of the best Tuscan dairy products.
A real added value, a pearl of this territory, is produced with pasteurized goat’s milk, salt, rennet and enzymes, it is then surface treated with seed oil.
Aged for about 60 days, it has a compact and fairly crumbly white texture. The rind is the only part of this inedible cheese.
The Semi-Aged Tuscan Goat Cheese contains short-chain fats, and being rich in taurine, it is perfect for athletes. In general, however, it is recommended for anyone who loves experimenting with new flavors and new combinations.
Ideal as a table cheese to eat alone or on a simple slice of bread to grasp the flavor in its entirety and intensity, it is also excellent if you want to give an extra touch to soups during the colder season or to quick meals such as toast and wraps.
